What We Do
Your Generosity Strengthens America’s Security
The National Institute for Deterrence Studies is guided by a clear vision:
To serve as a team of practitioners who advance peace and stability by evaluating deterrence practices and policies, affirming that a credible nuclear deterrent is the bedrock of American national security.
Your donation enables this mission in powerful ways.
It fuels rigorous research, thoughtful analysis, public education, and meaningful dialogue about the policies that keep our nation safe. It empowers experts, fellows, and partners who are dedicated to preserving peace through credible deterrence. And it ensures that our work remains independent, informed, and impactful.
By giving today, you become part of a mission that strengthens stability, supports national security, and invests in a safer world.
Thank you for advancing peace and deterrence through your support.

Deterrence for Industry Workshop
Contact us to schedule your workshop. This two-day workshop, with an optional one-day table-top exercise (a third day), is designed to provide industry participants with a broad understanding of the nuclear deterrence mission in support of talent retention and executive education. It serves as an opportunity for those unfamiliar with the nation’s nuclear deterrent to gain an overview of core elements and the threats facing the nation and help them understand and appreciate their own contribution to national security.
